No, I do find the lyrics to Temporary One moving, not the melody or delivery.

We have completely different takes on this. I thought all four of the new songs on THE DANCE were really good. In fact, I wish there were eight new songs on it and less golden oldies.

I'm a huge Stevie fan but Lindsey's songs were so much better. Sweet Girl doesn't really go anywhere...
Bleed to Love Her is, in a very Lindsey way, a love song and My Little Demon is an interesting take on his working out his issues. I think they both are interesting lyrically and musically.
I actually like Temporary One also.

'My Little Demon' - meh.
'Temporary One' - pretty dang good.
'Bleed to Love Her' - Great song.
'Sweet Girl' - Awesome (though I prefer Stevie's demo found on the Enchanted box set).

I actually like all the Dance new songs. Think it was just great really to get some new music from them all then and that they all sang together....

Lindsey's new songs on The Dance were great, IMO. Christine's and Stevie's were boring to me, musically more so than lyrically/sentimentally.

I'm easier to please

Ask anyone and they'll tell you I'm lying.

It's funny I liked Stevie's the best. But, I won't lie just because Christine is better than Stevie.

Lindsey is my favorite of the three writers, but "My Little Demon" was the only new song on The Dance that I didn't love. For me it's unlistenable.

But the "I really don't like it" part, surely doesn't fit with that theory.
I am sure if it's referring to THAT ...he really WOULD LIKE IT!

I always assumed it was about his member, from first listen. And he wrote "Come" a few years later. He sure has a way....
