Default PBS taping :)

Ok..so i have had three hours sleep in the last oh...36 hours..which is why it is taking me a bit to post this..but here goes...

I didn't know until 3:30 yesterday if i was actually going to be able to go to the PBS taping..cause Beantown is good hour and half away..but it worked out and my friend John and I(He is John B on here and posts once in a while) headed out.Long story short,we got a little lost in the city..and apparently even people who live in Boston don't know where the FleetCenter is..

Needless to say,we made it..got in..got stamped..then some chic with a black marker came around and marked our hands, for the front supposadly. When we were starting to get seated they wanted everyone up on the sides first, which was disappointing, but at the last minute a few more people were rushed to the front row,and we happend to be standing in the right place at the right time, and viola!,there we were! I haven't been front row since the TISL tour,so i was flipping..and right when the show started we all got to go to the stage. So i spent the night right under Stevie:::sighs::::

I know you all have read other reviews already..so i am just gonna comment on the songs that stood out to me-

Dreams-K,i don't like this song that much...but the fact that Stevie looked at Linds and sang "Women, they will come and they will go" so effectively that he gave her this sheepish look was worth sitting through the whole thing.

Say You Will- I hadn't seen them since May,so i couldn't fully appreciate the whole SYW Dance til last night..holy ****..how ****ING cute is she...the lasso-ing and the almost hooched out little hip action?? Go Stevie

NGBA-I hate to admit it..but for like, all of this song..i was nosy and watched Stevie get all Rhiannoned..she was so cute..and she fussing with her hair alot..also..not that i look, but when Stevie lost the little jacket thing and has on just the bustier...jesus holy christ..does she have some cleavage...John was like "woohooo" and i was like "oh Stevie..i REALLY hope you don't fall out of that hon"..

Rhiannon-AWESOME,kick-ass...yea...bout as close as we are ever gonna get to the days of old that is for sure..

Come- Well,it's Come people..do i really need to elaborate?

Gypsy-two words -WHITE BOOTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy ****..and the pink thing...totally gorgeous..

Landslide- THE shock of the night...she goes to dedicate it..and she is like..he taught me how to use a pick to play this song..and this song is ABOUT Lindsey..so tonight it is FOR Lindsey. I almost fell over...John said "oh my GOD" very loudly..who the hell knew THAT??? So,of course..the song is WAY emotional and just lovely...he kissed her hand and head twice, lol.

Say Goodbye- Well, how much must it suck to dedicate Landslide to Linds, then have him sing Say Goodbye?? Apprentlyl alot..cause a) you could hear a pin drop during the song(no idiots yelling..the 1,000 people there were VERY civilized, lol) and b) they both looked they were gonna cry and second. The obsessive nut that i am,i watched Stevie the WHOLE song..her every move..i wanted to cry for her Btw..the harmonies were PERFECT last night...the best i have heard EVER.

Beautiful Child- Sad and gorgeous as always..she ended it a little different..instead of the softer ah-ah-ah-ah thing at the end she went for it and was like "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". Very cool.

GDW-Nothing out of the ordinary..except that after the first verse,John stuck some weird fake teeth in his mouth,so when Stevie turned to him she just like, died laughing..then she had to turn back around and keep a straight face and keep singing..I officially LOVE John

I'm So Afraid- Again..i was Stevie watching most of the time..she was yakking with Carlos and Brett...but the song rocked as ususal..poor Linds looked liked he was gonna keel over after it..i was like dude..take it easy...

Silver Springs- I ALWAYS forget about this song til it starts..she KILLED it last night...yelled and ****...good stuff

Tusk-Yay..LOVE this song..they did the usual...boxed..threw their hands up..hugged..danced..then Linds did a victory dance

Stand Back- So Linds is doing his tribal thing..but..um..last night..he was possessed..i don't know WHAT the hell he was doing..but it was damn funny..his arms and legs were ALL over the place...it was great
Then Stevie came and kicked it..she KILLS that song...did like 12 spins..flirted with Carlos...

GYOW-I PLAYED LINDSEY'S GUITAR. Enough said. Oh,and the camera was right in my face when that happend..oy...

World Turning- Mick's solo was totally tolerable..i love this song SO much

Don't Stop-Nothing exciting..Stevie and Linds stood back to back at the end

Goodbye Baby- Just like BC..simply gorgeous..and sad:::sighs:::

I just have to say it was THE most amazing time i ever had..even though i got home wicked late and had to work 10 hours today..SO worth it..

Couple of random things:
Stevie wears black socks over her nylons with the Reeboks..

After like,Stand Back i think,i look over to where Stevie is changing real quick, and i see this blonde chic in spaghetti straps..and she flips her head over to fix her hair..and,i was like who the hell is that?? Yea,duh Sarah..it was Stevie..she looks like a teenager from behind like that,lol..

She wore the black boots at some point too..for the end i think...

SO..i think that is all of it..but i bet i am forgetting stuff...but hey..i am dead tired..but i wanted to share with you all..

:::falls over from exhaustion:::::

Hey I thought I was right under Stevie's mic.....is it possible that we were standing on top of eachother?? hahaha....I was right there up front too, right below stevie's mic after being allowed to sit in the front row. As soon as the show started, we all rushed the stage. There were cameras everywhere, in the air floating above the stage, in the audience on the floor, and on the stage. They didn't have to re-do any songs, except for one when Mick's ear monitors weren't working or somehting at the beginning of Tusk. Oh and Stevie looked gorgeous....her hair was rather BIG, but straight and looked really good. She kept fiddling with it when she was standing on the side of the stage where the cameras could not see her. It was amazing and surreal to be at such an intimate show....it felt like there were maybe 30 people in there, with such a huge empty arena. But damn, we were loud and I think the band loved our enthusiasm, since most of us were the diehards. Lindsey sat on the edge of the stage during.....was it Don't Stop?? I can't remember now...it was either Tusk, Don't Stop or GYOW. He let everyone grope him....and did it on both sides of the stage. Lindsey and Stevie did their usual boxing and then slow dance....very cute....during Say You Will, Stevie walked right up to him during the guitar part and was improvising with AAHHS and OHHSS and I thought they were gonna make out, but they behaved. Ha. And....ummm.....can I just say that LINDSEY IS SO HOT!!!! Good lord.....he looked at me a few times, as he does with EVERYONE, and as much as I wanted to stare right back and sing the words along with him, I was BLUSHING and had to look away!!! Ughhhh....I'm such a dork. And damn he is fine. He does know it though, doesn't he. LOVE LOVE LOVE him!!

Kristin

P.S. Did anyone else see John put in his FAKE set of teeth, with two of the teeth blacked out and smile at Stevie when she had her back to the audience during GDW. The second she turned back around, he took them out again, smiling, and put them back on the stage. HAHA. So funny.b

Thumbs up

Well, eventually I made it down to the front of the stage practically under Stevie's nostrils. For most of the show, I was on John's side of the stage...we didn't care about being in front....He would come down during the numbers that he didn't play on and smoke a cig and chat a bit....it was a blast! Also, Stevie would come over our way to change shawls and such.....TALK ABOUT CLEAVAGE! You guys in front didn't see as much as we did! I'm gIad I made it down front to shake hands with the band. It was an amazing experience for this young lad from West Virginia! It was like having the Mac in my living room....My top moments/songs:

EOTW: I just love love love this song

Rhiannon: Wow! That ending blew me away....never heard it live like that before....

Say You Will: Gotta love that LASSO....

I'm So Afraid: Hearing Stevie's tambourine so cripst and clear all evening....and this song, when she would turn and play it...totally beautiful and haunting.....

What's the World Coming To?: My newest friend that I met there and myself just DANCED and DANCED to this song! A BLAST

Silver Springs: the ending seemed more "rockish" to me....

Tusk: When Lind's guitar came unplugged and he swirled that plug around and around

Stand Back: the twirls of course

Thanks for reading
