It's unfair only if all 5 were equally responsible for the way it came out. And if that is the case, it would be equally unfair for those who consider Tusk to be a masterpiece to give Lindsey the lion's share of the credit.

It's true. He took charge of the album. He has to take the good with the bad. Stevie didn't want anything to do with the concept. And Christine wasn't crazy about some of it, either. Mick fought with him a lot. And John got his bass parts done for him, at times. So yeah, he drove this music.
I think the album is a masterpiece. But, it's not for everyone.
