I looove Bad Loser it's in my Christine top three with Heart of Stone and Oh Daddy (top).
But Never Make Me Cry and Honey Hi are both too lightweight for me. |

Little Lies is my favorite Tango song. It did take awhile to grow on me. I only truly started to appreciate it after seeing done live last year. |

EXACT SAME top 3. Pretty impressive especially considering the randomness of that assortment.

I also LOVE Bad Loser. Its such a unique Christine song. She is rarely negative or name calling in songs. So that unique quality makes the song shine for me.
Funny story.... I was 14 in 1984 and was in full blown Mac worship syndrome. Christine had just released her solo album and I was exploring older Mac music. I had just bought Heros Are Hard To Find and discovered Bad Loser. It was an election year and was also discovering my inner political self. Bad Loser was my inner campaign theme "You're just a bad loser and your gonna go DOWN" I have not heard the song for awhile but Heros has all sorts of gems from Chris like Come a little bit closer. Its the album right before the explosion of Fleetwood Mac. You can really hear how much better Chris gets album after album. That is why I live Heros so much. Picking your least favorite Christine song is like picking your least favorite French fry, potato chip, or jelly bean. Its really impossible for me ![]()

It clearly is "Do You Know." While "Wish You Were Here" is not my favorite, her duet with Billy really should not have made Behind The Mask. If Only "Love Shines" and "Heart Of Stone" were available to replace it and "The Second Time."

I always loved Do You Know. REALLY loved it. I was in college when it came out, and in a serious unrequited love situation. I think back with sad and happy memories, when I hear it, still. Just like it was yesterday.

Its one of the best songs on Behind the Mask. I am not a fan of Billy singing but his voice sounds great on the song and blends with Chris perfectly.

But I don't think there was that much effort put into it. Duet-wise, the much stronger song is "When It Comes To Love." And the best tune on Behind The Mask is "Save Me," I'd say. I actually heard "Bad Loser" on the radio in a DC restaurant this week, and that made me super happy. On "Heroes," I absolutely love the experimentation of that song and album. |

My least favorite from the Rumours line-up albums is "Never Make Me Cry", although "Wish You Were Here", and "Only Over You" are also up (down?) there. "Over and Over" and "Warm Ways" are eh, I don't hate them but they never stand out to me. "Love In Store" never worked for me either.
I quite enjoy "Sugar Daddy" |
