What exactly is she referencing here- I can't tell if she's talking about Bella Donna, 24k Gold, or yet another new solo album that she's going to tackle after this tour?

Hm. Not sure exactly what you're saying. Didn't she start recording Bella Donna in the fall of 1980? I feel like at that point Lindsey hadn't begun his solo career yet (Law and Order came out fall '81 if I remember correctly). Mick only started recording The Visitor after she started recording Bella Donna, John only had one solo album in the 90s, and Christine hadn't released solo since '70 and wouldn't again until '84.

If you read the whole article, she was specifically speaking to what they were doing at that moment when she decided to tell them she was going solo. She wasn't sh*tting on their entire solo careers.

I'm glad she went solo because I love Bella Donna. But to say Buck's songs would never be heard is wrong because his album was released in October of 1981 and he got fantastic reviews. Mick was in Ghana doing the Visitor with Richard in January 1981.

It just always and forever sounds like, "meeeeeee, meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!" oh and my bandmates...

And it looked like Lindsey's album might gain more attention at first, because Trouble was getting some decent airplay. In fact, he and Stevie were on the charts at the same time and the press was saying they couldn't escape each other.

This is what I think also. I'd rather they cut this tour short, or postpone some dates just to finish the album. Wishful thinking of course.

Seriously. In particular to Lindsey. I was hoping this was from the Onion or something, But to actually say that? Sheesh. Whether that's what she actually said then or is paraphrasing (and it's worse if that's what she's doing, because it shows what she thinks about him now), it's cruel. He had a top 10 hit, another top 40, and his most recent album charted as high as Go Insane. This is in addition to always being critically acclaimed.
