Agreed. As usual, she is reframing the song as blues. Along with Lindsey's guitar riff, the song could have sounded saucy, like Anything is Possible or Everybody Finds Out.

Because of the quirkiness of LB and CM's style, I always found Stevie's solo arrangements to be more generic live. Waddy is a lot of flash and low on substance for me. I know everyone loves him, but he tries to be this heavy guitar player and it's just E riffing and it bores me.

I have to agree with you on that. Personally, I started to think Stevie needed a new touring band about 10 years ago.
