If Stevie is dumb enough to screw up the best thing that's happened to this band since 1997 - she deserves to be the butt of a joke.

But she's not the only dumb one. In fact, she seems to be the smartest.

I'm just thinking of that 1994 interview where Stevie said when she went on her solo tours,

She's been dangling catnip for decades now. The others should put an end to this cycle. Their album is not going to sell anyway, Stevie or no Stevie. So, if they're waiting because they think they are going to go platinum and get a Grammy if Stevie is on board, they're so stupid I don't even know why I'm wasting my time.

I guess I can agree with you that it would sell more than SYW with Stevie, but not without her.

Would it be more critically acclaimed than SYW, even without Stevie? I bet there's a good chance.
