I thought the rules for pairing albums with concert tickets is that it had to be optional and not for free. Tom Petty's album was free with every concert ticket. Pretty sure that doesn't count for sales.But maybe the rules have changed again.

I remember some of the country acts were pairing up albums with the tix.

With those inflated tix prices .They can afford to throw in an album.

I think the albums Madonna gave away with the purchase of concert tickets for her last album counted towards the album's sales.
