Thoughts on Mick's New Book

I really enjoyed the book. I was a bit unclear about the trouble with his relationship with Sara. I felt like he was somewhat vague on the exact reasons why they no longer talk. He spoke about her blaming him for addiction issues, but there were parts that seemed a bit unclear- like something was missing from the story. Maybe it's just me?

I finally finished it. I'm just looking through the pictures now. I'm with you; I enjoyed the book, too. I knew some of the history, bits & pieces here & there, but I didn't know the whole story. This explains a lot to me. I, too, don't understand why Sara & Mick don't speak to each other. He seems friendly with his other ex-wives, but maybe that is because he has kids with the other two.

I found the story of his affair with Stevie interesting, how long it went on, etc. Some of her lyrics in her songs, to me anyway, I can't think of them right now, but some seems to describe her relationship with Mick when I thought they might have been about Lindsey at the time. He describes his relationship with her now as a brother/sister unromantic relationship, but thinks if it went on, if he would have not went back to Jenny, it may have been something more.

I found his early drumming career interesting as well. And how the band was formed, how they got their name, etc.

A good book, I would recommend it. It was well put together & in order unlike some rock stars books (Steven Tyler).
