I wonder what the backstory of Stevie giving Chris a whistle is anyway. When she presented it, she probably said something like, "so you can be the referee." I wouldn't be surprised.

I think you're spot on!! I bet that's exactly what happened. But it kinda back fired on Stevie. I do have to wonder if the whistle thing was rehearsed or not...or maybe Chris shared what she was going to do with some of the band but not Stevie? I wonder. I think they were all in on it, even Stevie.
