I hope they perform Over My Head. I think Chris should do more of her songs!

Would I have an entirely different set list for them? Damned right.
Does this set list surprise me in any way? No. Well, a little. I did think that they'd include 1 or 2 NEW songs that they've been recording. And, maybe even figure an arrangement of one of Stevie's 24 Karat Gold songs that she'd written for FMac. Oh, wait, what am I thinking? This is Fleetwood Mac...never mind.

And, under NO circumstances should "Oh Well" EVER, EVER, EVER be a "surprise" in a Fleetwood Mac set list. It should be standard operating procedure. Without that song, and the person who wrote it, they wouldn't be standing on stage in 2014 as Fleetwood Mac. AND, that they've not paid homage to Bob Welch via playing ONE, just ONE, effing song of his in concert since his passing is the rudest, sickest, most despicable behavior ever.

But, again, what am I thinking? This is Fleetwood Mac...never mind.

So, Fleetwood Mac is coming around again in concert, Christine's back....NEVER F-ING MIND!

(really, really sad, I kinda wanted to see Christine again...but, after how they've acted...eff it.)

The shame is EVERYBODY BUT FLEETWOOD MAC honors Fleetwood Mac's past.

Anyone else see a major FAIL in that concept???

This is great! Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are amazing. They always perform a few cover songs. I don't think anyone in their audience feel robbed of one of their own songs because of it. If it's a great performance by a great band, it doesn't matter what the **** they play -- none of the bull**** nonsense of "I'm mad because I paid good money to hear the songs I want to hear."

You're being ridiculous. Christine is probably a little rusty and so is the rest of the band as far as performing her songs. They're playing what everyone wants to see them play, the only people who will be displeased are the few of us here on The Ledge. But like I keep trying to remind everyone, be grateful we have the opportunity to see all five perform together, a lot of us never thought we would get that opportunity.

You're being naïve. Life goes on. I never saw the Beatles or Cream, but do I whine about it? No. Yes, you're lucky to see the Fireflies, but some/most? have seen them numerous times, the idea for CREATIVE people is to keep moving forward and let your audience catch up, not SERVE the audience. That's not creative, that's nostalgic bullsh*t. Sure, there's time & place for honoring an entity's legacy, but that's not what Fleetwood Mac has done for the last, oh, 17 years. Once Lindsey & Stevie returned in '97, it's been nothing but nostalgic bullsh*t. At least, with new personnel there was creativity. They've done nothing but jump on the Rumours hype bandwagon and stay there for eternity. It is crap, it was crap, it'll always BE crap. Stinking smelly CRAP!

With all the old bands I have seen, I'm always really annoyed when they throw new stuff in their set, I don't want to see the new stuff, I want their classics. I saw Crosby Stills & Nash a month ago and they had a couple new songs but did not play Suite Judy Blue Eyes. I would have been much happier seeing Suite Judy Blue Eyes and cut the new songs.

Also, these bands should be serving the audience with these ticket prices, I paid $1050 for two 8th row floor seats. Fleetwood Mac better play what I want to see.

To each his own I guess. I prefer the nostalgia acts.

I'm confused- you are angry they aren't playing old standards, but you're angry they aren't doing new material. You want them mired in the past, yet you don't want them mired in the past. Got it.

Let's look at their track record for a moment- they performed 1/3 of the Say You Will album during that tour. They performed 1/2 of the EP last year. For a "legacy act" that's actually not too shabby. Their new music output definitely IS shabby, though. As are these cash grab tours with mostly stagnant setlists.

I will also admit I am sad they didn't even say anything about Bob's passing onstage, much less do one of his songs. But I have a feeling the litigation Bob & his widow had with the band played a part in that decision. Who knows what the terms of that settlement were? Could the band have been forbidden to perform any songs written by him? Or perhaps Wendy Welch threatened legal action if the band even said anything about Bob onstage- she certainly could have threatened libel, or demanded a cut of tour profits if they performed a Welch tune. I could see why the band may want to just wash their hands of such risks.

I agree with allot of what you are saying.

I think those of who are addressing our displeasure with the setlist (if this is legit) have made some very valid points. On one hand I myself am stoked to see FM with all 5 members present (something I thought would never happen). However on the other I am disappointed with the setlist and even the tour for several reasons. Back in April of 2013 when I saw the IYD screening and Q/A in Toronto Stevie had talked about doing a solo tour packed with rarities next year and made no mention of doing a new CD. We all know the Christine coming back threw them all for a loop but it didn't explain why as soon as they announce her return Stevie is all "see ya later guys" and takes off to Nashville to make a record. If this was some sort of record contract obligation why did she not say something at any time last year about doing another album. Because of her leaving and the others working on the new music little time seemed to be spent on really digging deep and coming up with a setlist that was not simply a retread of last years tour (minus 5 songs). If this setlist turns out to be legit that will mean only 4 songs will be new and not have been in any setlist since 97 and that to me comes across as pure laziness and in Lindsey's case very hypocritical given how much he trashed the Eagles for resting on their achievements which is exactly what FM is doing.

What they should have done is once they knew for sure Chris was coming back they could have let Stevie do her album and a short tour this fall and then next year finish the FM album and tour behind it. The album and tour would have been a big hit I think because the way it could have been marketed as the first all new album in 27 years to feature all 5 Rumors members. As it stands now when (if ever) will Stevie get to promote 24 Karat besides maybe a record store signing or two and perhaps an appearance on one of the talk shows etc?

With respect to the setlist I know the band feels the majority of fans only want the familiar but if they stopped and looked at their vast catalog they would see they have allot of great material to chose from so that should be reflected in their setlist selection. For me this setlist cries laziness. Do they need to open with the Chain every show? Since Chris is back why not open with Hold Me or SYLM? They were hits and the audience would enjoy them. As for World Turning it has been part of the encores now for 3 tours and needs to go. Surely then can do something else (Blue Letter perhaps). I'm So Afraid and Big Love and real showstoppers but they have been done to death and he should try something else. I thought Family Man and Tango would substitute nicely for those songs. Another song I think could work as part of the acoustic set would be SMAP and That's Alright as they are not too rocking that they wouldn't work in that acoustic setting. SHN, GDW and NGBA are also songs that were not even singles so they could easily swap them out and do other non singles from other albums. Why not try BTLH again as it is a great song and Christine did sing and play on the track . It would be a great way to play something off of SYW. If they must do Rumors songs then at least dust off IDWK since it is still the one track never played live. Also simply swapping out NTF for IKINW is the safe choice rather then trying to do something else from Tusk. Even Stevie seems to be phoning it in with not 1 new song different from the last tour. I really thought Angel and 7W would be in for sure since 1) Every previous tour has featured one of her lesser known tracks from Tusk and 2) AHS had that performance (even if it was just lip synced) and it was hit back in 87 and I think that the audience would have enjoyed it.

For that matter you could also ask why on earth for nearly 40 years they have ignored Bob Welch's material from 71-74? I really think Hypnotized would go over well as it is a Classic Rock staple.
