I never knew Margi designed any of Christine's stage clothes... I learn something new about this band every day! Certainly explains the dowdy pantsuits Christine has worn onstage for the past 30 years.

I hope she doesn't put Stevie in those awful carpal tunnel looking black gloves. I loathe those. They aren't elegant or flattering at all.

I loved Christine's outfit during The Dance. The red jacket was royalty. A tad matronly, but it works for her.

I loved Stevie's Mirage outfits. Spot on..

I thought Christine looked the best during the Tusk shows and the Tango in the Night shows.

Nobody wears a pair of jeans better than Christine.

But they ARE for carpal tunnel -- or whatever it is that is ailing Stevie.

I don't have anything against the health related attire, even when it's ugly. I do have something against the top with the holes at the shoulders though. I think it makes Stevie's arms look unflattering.

Now I feel bad, that's very painful and I did not know she had that.

Well, to be honest, she hasn't said what she has, but it seems to be some sort of inflammation problem with arms and hands.

There was a picture posted this morning of the entire crew...Christine, Stevie, Lori, Sharon, and Karen were all in it. Seems to be gone now.

Like here's an L. A. Times mention of it from 1987 and I know there was one particular top that Margi made several replicas of for Christine, Christine liked it so much.

Quote:
For her band's new video, "Seven Wonders," Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie needed something to wear. So she called Margi Kent in her Melrose Avenue studio and ordered up an outfit. Kent styled a show-stopper top in beaded black and a pair of velvet pants. It was one of three outfits Kent made for Ms. Mac, Listen hears from Sharon Weisz of the band's office. It was part of a busy week. After McVie, Anita Baker went to see Kent, desperately seeking something to wear for a TV appearance. For her, Weisz says, Kent crafted a beaded riding jacket of pink lace to wear over a matching dress. For good measure, the designer added a pair of matching custom-made bracelets.

Yes I realize that now, the white top Chrostine is wearing in the 1987 live videos, I have seen pictures from other 1987 live shows and Christine is wearing the same top but it's greenish. It also looks like she is wearing the same top in the seven wonders video but in black.
