There are two layers of chemistry in the band -- that between the musicians and that between the vocalists. Stevie's not a musician, so she's not part of that particular chemistry. Just as Mick & John aren't a part of the vocalists' chemistry.

I don't think it's a slight to Messrs Fleetwood & McVie when Christine, Lindsey & Stevie talk about the chemistry between the three of them, and I don't think it's a slight to Stevie when any of them discuss the chemistry between the musicians/"band."

I do admit to chuckling a bit when Christine was like, "With Stevie gone, Lindsey and I have actually been able to concentrate..."

It's so funny to me. Maybe they don't realize the words coming out of their mouths. lol

I care about Stevie from a distance cracked me up, too.

I just took that to mean that he cares for her but she keeps him (emotionally) at arm's length in their interactions offstage. She's not going to ever go back to just handing her songs over to him and letting him run with them or work with him as the final authority (i.e. producer) on her stuff.

I wonder if Stevie has gotten wind of these comments yet.I can only imagine how pissed she'll be when she does. But it's fair game-Stevie has made several comments about L & C recently like she wanted to show Lindsey how well she and DS get along during the making of an album and that she begged Chris so many times to come back and she wouldn't but now she wants to and it's not the way it used to be blah blah blah.As usual drama, drama, drama. The being able to concentrate without Stevie there comment is really going to bite her in the ass.

Christine is just saying that without Stevie there they can concentrate on "co-writing". I don't take it as a diss.

I'm glad they are clarifying that Stevie WILL be a large part of this album. I guess right that the album will be before the international tour. It's going to be a year to wait for the album A long year!!!
