Ok, I've got to rant about this. I know this always happens when you want to go to a concert and I know it's too be expected too, but the scalpers drive me crazy and now that Christine has rejoined the band, it seems the ticket scalpers are much worse this time around.

I barely got my tickets at 200.00 a piece before the Dallas show pretty much sold out. There maybe a few single seats left here and there in the arena, but I was told by a man working at Ticketmaster (Monday at 12:30pm) that almost all the tickets left for the Dallas show were single seats ONLY and even those were going fast. He said people were snapping up the single seats up trying to get seats as close together as possible before all the tickets were gone.

Before the tickets went on sale Monday to the general public I tried to get tickets using the AMEX presale and the tickets that were coming up then were crap tickets, so I was hoping they were holding some good seats back to sale to the general public and decided to wait till Monday to buy my tickets. But no, it looks like a good portion of the tickets were actually bought up by the ticket scalpers during the pre-sale and you can now buy your Fleetwood Mac ticket on StubHub at double, triple, quadruple... etc....etc.. the original price

I'm fine with someone trying to make some money, but right now (while I'm typing) there are 1214 tickets for sale on Stubhub for the Dallas Fleetwood Mac Show. The prices range 112.00 (ok price) to $5,502.00 for tickets on the 3rd level in the nose bleed section ?!?! (blood sucker) Not everyone selling their ticket is trying to bleed the regular Mac fan, but the ones that are, are really ticking me off because regular working people can't afford 400.00, 500.00, 600.00 and up for a ticket (and God bless the Mac Fan's that can afford them, because I know your there and you've paid ridiculous prices for your tickets in the past).

And while some may say that, that's capitalism and you snooze you lose, I think it's really FU**ED that anyone thinks it's ok to buy a concert ticket (to any concert) and then turn around and sell it at about a 9100% mark up (60.00 x 9100% = 5,460.00)

And what's even worse is that a large portion of the tickets appear to have been bought during the pre-sale (because I was checking Subhub during the pre-sale too, to see if there were any decent tickets available there and the ticket prices were sky high then too) so not only did the scalpers get a lot of the best tickets to the concert and JACK UP THE PRICES UP, but the BAS**RDS also got them at a DISCOUNTED PRICE TOO.... Scalpers SUX

What people ask and what people spend are not the same. Casual Mac fans aren't going to pay $400 and those prices will drop drastically as the show nears. True fans will have an opportunity to buy these at face or even less. Scalpers do suck but it is the nature of the beast.

I bought Eagles tickets last fall from a broker a few days before the show that were below face. They lost money. I got 4 great floor seats.

I had a good laugh today thinking about the current ticket situation and then thinking back to 2009 when Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland had to block off entire sections due bad ticket sales AND they freely upgraded entire sections to closer sections. Those were the days, HA!

The thing is, I have sometimes waited for tickets to drop and it never happened.

At the very least I would think the Stubhubs of the world would stop their 2 ticket minimum requirement closer to the show, but they don't always do that.

Sure, if they sell an odd number of tickets and have one left over, you can buy singles then. But other times I've seen the same two tickets stubbornly remain on sale at the same high price right up to the day of the concert.

I agree with the people who have done this a lot and say that tickets will drop. Most of them will. But I've also learned the hard way that not all of them do.

How is anything considered face value when TM is selling the tickets at $1800 each for floor seats?

That's NOT face value. And, it's wrong.

The other day I saw a lot of angry comments on their FB page regarding the high ticket prices. Not sure if it has been removed since or not.

$1800 is not face value. TM is now in the scalping business.

Yep. Absolutely. I can't believe that "somehow" they've not been prosecuted for this practice. It's complete BS.

I just looked again at the tickets available for the two Saturday shows for LA and anything worth buying is all showing "resale" and they now even are color-coding the tickets to distinguish between TM's "resale" tickets (which start at $451) and "venue" tickets--which are either all the way in the back for floor seats or in the balcony right next to the stage (which could easily be blocked by equipment).

There are two really good seats in the second row in the front section for Saturday, Nov. 29--at "just" $1500 each. This is outrageous and I don't understand how TM is getting away with it. I thought there were laws against scalping in CA (or it just against individuals--who don't have the same rights anymore as large corporations, but I digress).

In a moment of weakness and out of total exasperation during presale when I couldn't find anything else, I did break down and buy their totally ridiculously priced VIP ticket for the San Diego show because there's a good chance this is their last tour together and I've never been that close to the stage--for my seat anyway.

Like everyone has said, this is the worst concert buying experience I've ever had. If this is how it's going to be for FM shows, I will never pay to see them again.

Let's just hope that the 3 days in LA mean that a DVD is coming...

When I looked at LA's last night, they were selling floor seats for the Forum at over 600. Insane. Stubhub went as high as 6 thousand for two in the first row in Toronto. Are they ****ing serious?!? I know FM has nothing to do with those prices, but if they didn't ask so much in the first place, people wouldn't go to such ridiculous lengths with them.

Definitely the worst buying experience I've had, but I'm glad I'm going without blowing my bank account out too much.

Again, what sellers ask for tix and what they get are not the same.

Good singles right next to the stage are still available in PHX.

Default The FM Tix are in the mail.So watch for them.

The FM Tix are in the mail.So watch for them.Thats if you get the physical tickets themselves .

I just received my tix today for the Hartford XL Center.I notice there was no info receipt paper and adverts bill stuffers along with ticket.

I guess the more the merrier they will save on paper plus less cost for them as they collect their convenience fees as they go up in the meantime.

Another thought .The XL Centers tickets are through the partner deal with Ticketmaster-Live Nation .Maybe that could be the reason.

When I saw them late last year in London the tickets only cost around £50 a pop. I didn't think it was unreasonable and I only get to go to concerts once in a blue moon. Seats were in the nosebleeds but other than that...
