Why has Stevie started singing some of Lindsey's lines along with him? I'd never noticed it in The Chain until this video, but I had heard it in GYOW before.

I saw her lips moving on some of his lines, but I never really heard her voice. In the old days, they used to sing over each other and it heightened the intensity, but even with Lori and Sharon, it's not as easy to capture multi-layered voices now, like they could when Christine was there. They did it for Beautiful Child, but they don't really succeed in doing it well on other songs.

Now that I listen to it again it sounds like she's only singing "And if" on the "And if you don't love me now" line. I initially thought she was singing the whole line.

On GYOW I've seen her singing the repeated lines in the chorus which are usually just Lindsey.

She started doing that live back in the 70s. Actually, for a while she would sing the entire lead vocal during the chorus of GYOW.
