The sound on the recording is really good! Little bit of distortion here and there, nothing major, it's a nice warm sound.

Check it out: Mediafire

Thanks for recording April!

Thanks for doing this April and posting about it @MacMan! I hope someone records the second Chicago show in June as that's the one I'm going to.

You're right. There is no GYOW. Bummer, hope she appends the download.

My theory is that Steve Real probably gives Stevie a nightly note allowance. I'm serious. She is probably allowed to exceed the ___ note no more than a dozen times per show. I suppose this helps to ensure that she is keeping some left in the tank as the tour drags on...

Also, this is the same high note that she hits during "Without You:" "...in this complicated world and there you ARE..."

She's definitely made some significant adjustments over the last few years. There must be certain tones that do more damage than others. I guess it will preserve her voice and allow her to sing longer. But it is very strange not to hear the bridge of "Edge of Seventeen" ("the clouds never expect it...") or the signature growl that comes right after. She must also not be allowed to go deep on the word "home" in "Sara" and "Gold Dust Woman" or "taaaaaaake me home" in "Stand Back, because she sings it differently. It's disappointing, but I guess it must be done.

Either not allowed or she's just plain lazy... counting the dollars all the while. Shame on her!! Always banging on about how the punters only attend in order to hear the "hits", but what about putting on a half decent performance? She seems to have neglected that part of the equation.

So I was going through HuffPost's pictures from Chicago and there's this one of Lindsey sitting down on the stage (Slide 11 of 22). Anyone know when during the concert this happened? I was at Madison Square Garden and I saw nothing like it.

Edit: Also, did anyone catch that Mick's eyes are included for the Eyes of the World graphics on the screen? Nice touch

he's been doing it at every show so far, as far as i know. it's during Mick's World Turning solo.

a friend of mine snapped a pic of him sitting down like that at MSG.

I wish I had seen him doing that at MSG. Really cool. I'm guessing Stevie isn't sitting on the other side of the stage. Come to think of it, it's probably the only real break Lindsey gets the entire show--besides between the main set and encore.

The dance and the studio gypsys are not the same vocals.
