Like Tom Petty. Or the Grateful Dead.
me too. if they'd do that i might consider looking for some good tix for another show somewhere close to me.

i don't see a change in the setlist just yet though, but hoping it will happen (and not dropping but adding songs!) at some point in the tour.

swapping Sara with Angel wouldn't hurt anything, they'd still have their nice little Tusk block which works so well - it would work even better!

and although i love love love Eyes, now that i've heard it already live, i wouldn't mind it being swapped with What Makes You Think You're The One.

oh and of course, they need to add Walk a Thin Line!!!!!

No. It would hurt my everything.

I mean, given the pace, Angel might be a nice fit for the Tusk block, but it's not like Angel and Sara are interchangeable. Angel is beloved among focused fans and Sara is a national treasure.

is it? i was watching reactions of the whole arena, and didn't see much craziness on Sara, for any of the 3 shows i've seen.

GDW and Landslide, however - everyone went wild. Gypsy and Rhiannon pretty big reactions too, have to reluctantly admit.

also, and that's the song i really was hoping Lindsey would swap out, but NGBA after Landslide gets almost as big of a response as Landslide.

Angel would be a perfect fit for the Tusk block.

If they would share the same mic for Angel, a la Tusk, I would gladly have them sacrifice Sara. Interaction is always a good thing. I hate it when they don't acknowledge they are on stage together. It looks ridiculous.

Actually though, I don't think Stevie is overly attached to the song live. The problem is, if she stopped doing it, I highly doubt that she would place a "new" song like Angel in its stead. If she cut Sara, then we'd just lose Sara and probably wouldn't get anything good to replace it. So, I am not wishing for them to cut anything.

no cutting, replacing. since we know they won't just add...

and however much i don't like Say Goodbye, it is fittingly closing the arc of the story they choose to tell on this tour - from Landslide through Without You to Say Goodbye. so it has to stay, otherwise WATL could be a nice ballad-y closer too

If Stevie made a replacement, it would probably be switching in Soldier's Angel for something. That's the only thing I could see from her. Lindsey is more flexible.

So, do you stand at the foot of the stage softly singing the words to Say Goodbye with them, your eyes slightly misted over? That has got to be a sight!

Well, you know Lindsey. If this tour had a second leg, I wouldn't put WATL out of the running, after a break.

lol. you know me better than that Michele!

but i do think it sounds good actually, guitar work and singing, once i get over the fact that it's that song [which has that sound/melody i don't like].

Hmm. Sara is an INTERnational treasure. Tusk and Sara are Fleetwood Macs Culthits. Not like the rumours and white album hits.

I wouldn't really call Tusk a cult hit, mainly because the use by the Trojans makes it really widely known. Even before I lived in California where USC was popular, I heard this song played at college games and it seemed to have a life of its own, outside of Fleetwood Mac. In fact, maybe it's just a cover they do.

lol. you know, my son was asking me after the show whose song Don't Stop is and why did they cover it in concert?
