We'll have all the new songs in just a couple of days after everybody posts their recordings online. We'll be lucky to ever hear the digital download from Fleetweed Mac.

Screw Icrap/Amazon digital download..How bout a copy on vinyl 45 RPM will suit me.Cassette singles did suck.

I love hearing snap crackle pop when Stevie's voice is playing on my turn table.

Yes I agree .Youtube will be loaded with concert footage of the new tunes.Thats if they do them.

Umm...sorry to bring up something that's apparently been mentioned more than once before, but what exactly IS "the 'Thrown Down' thing with Lindsey"...?

Like everyone else, I was really looking forward to hearing the new songs. Partly, I was holding out hope that maybe the delay was due to Christine guesting on them, but I know that was the longest of shots.

This is where it becomes tough to be a fan. On one hand, I understand that when a band becomes as big as FM, it becomes a business. But I hope the band members don't ever forget that none of us is here because we admire their business decisions. We're here for the artistry.

Well stated but will fall on FM's deaf ears. (When it comes to artistry over the payout imo)

In the Destiny Rules doc, there was a scene where Lindsey suggested that Stevie might want to change some of the "yous" to "he" in Thrown Down to make the subject consistent throughout the song. Stevie got upset and infamously declared, "You wouldn't say that to Bob Dylan!"

They start the tour tomm. They have stated in interviews that this is not a greatest hits tour and that they have new songs. There should be information by now as to a release date of the new songs. This is NOT how you treat fans. I think it's disrespectful and total BS. Just my opinion.

I know where you're coming from but this is nothing new to the "older" fans. They have always given us different release dates going all the way back to the Tusk album and said things in interviews that didn't work out. After 35 years I'm used to it. Is it fair to the fans? Not really but on the flip side you can't really fault them for that because at the time they said things about new releases and stuff, they were under the impression that the new music was going to be released. I guess the same thing happened this time around.

Maybe she meant HAIR product. New shampoo? Styling gel? Mousse?

In my own state of denial, I'm gonna say it was Soldier's Angel. *gun shot goes off now* lol

Well, if that is true, thank God at least we'll hear it live even if we never get a studio version (remembers back to Temporary One).

Okay, now I remember it. I've never actually seen the documentary, but I do recall having read about that exchange.

Umm...no offense to Stevie, but she's no Bob Dylan. [Similarly, Bob Dylan is no Stevie Nicks...]

As the co-producer, it was Lindsey's job to make suggestions about songs and arrangements. But I think that's also what you have bandmates for---to offer constructive criticism on each other's tunes. Of course, that means that Lindsey would have to be equally willing to hear the same sort of suggestions regarding his OWN songs...! *wink*

I'm eager to read the reviews of tonight's show.

I have a great idea elle!!! After the new songs are performed and the audience cheers, the sound technician should add the simulated audience response into the mix. Then Stevie will really believe the audience loves these songs.

I, too, am hoping they will roll the new songs into a full-length album of new material, and that this is the reason for the delay.

If so, I'm all for it and ready to put the new album on my wish list upon its announcement.

In fact, I'd be happy for a CD because mp3-only releases just don't sound as good.
