Default Favorite Mac album, excluding Lindsey's songs

Earlier in the month I did a similiar poll excluding Stevie's songs. So what about Lindsey? Pick your favorite Rumours Era Fleetwood Mac album, disregarding Lindsey's songs. Does excluding his songs change your liking of an album more or less?

'75 FM, Rumours, Tusk, Mirage, and Tango in the Night are eligible.

Without Lindsey's songs (I assume he still gets to produce though, heh) my order of preference doesn't change but Mirage is a lot harder to get into since I don't care for Christine's songs on it and so for me Stevie's pulling all the weight herself. I think Rumours is still #1 because Christine's songs are groovier there, but Tusk is a lot closer to the top without Lindsey's songs (I love his Tusk songs, it's just that "Go Your Own Way" is my most favorite) while FM '75 falls a bit further back.

I disregarded Lindsey's and Christine's collaborations but I kept a hypothetical version of "The Chain"/"Keep Me There".

None, to be honest. If I HAD to pick, Rumours because of Hold Dust Woman and Oh Daddy.
Pre 75 I'll take Penguin or Kiln House.

same here. i really don't care for these records much more than any other music without Lindsey's songs. when i listen to Tusk especially, i mostly listen to LB's songs only, just occasionally peppered with some of the others.

i do like following songs:
FM: Landslide (1)
Rumours: Gold Dust Woman, Don't Stop, Songbird, IDWTK (4)
Tusk: SOTM, Angel, BC, Think About Me (4)
Mirage: Hold Me (1)
Tango: Everywhere, Little Lies (2)
Say You Will: Destiny Rules (1)

so i guess all together it would add up in one album maybe, 7 Christine's songs and 6 Stevie's... assuming Lindsey still played guitar, did harmonies and arranged / produced.

looks like a tie between Rumours and Tusk but i wouldn't buy either album without LB's songs.

Tusk has five of Stevie's best songs in one great collection.

Mine would only equal up to about a fifteen song album as well.

Lindsey's songs on Tusk and Tango are partly why I love those albums and rank them high. So I would say Rumours or Mirage, but I voted for Rumours. Christine and Stevie's songs hold up well together without Lindsey's material on Rumours. However, I didn't really care for Lindsey or Christine's songs on Mirage, except for 2 or 3. Stevie made that album for me.

Got to be Rumours for me, simply because I don't think there's a bad track on there.

Stevie shone on Tusk and Christine on Tango so they'd be my runners up.

Tough for me to separate Lindsey's songs as his songs in many ways define Fleetwood Mac for me. Take Lindsey's songs away and the albums wouldn't be nearly as interesting. Or as good imo. Case in point would be Behind the Mask. Don't think that BTM would make anyone's list as a favorite FM album whereas all the Lindsey involved FM albums would.

I got to go with Mirage. My fav Lindsey songs are from '75 Mac and Rumours. I love Christine and Stevie's Mirage songs. Second place would be Tango in the Night.

REALLY? Pretty broad & exaggerated statement. Don't include ME in that. I was happy Lindsey bailed...none of the albums during his tenure would I EVER claim to be my favorite FMac album. I thought BTM was a great album that lack a crisp production quality (the mixes were pretty muddy), but other than that, I actually wore out 2 CDs of it in the first 4 years after it came out.

Plus, concert set was expanded to include some classic Fleetwood Mac songs that hadn't been performed in years, instead of the Rumours-centricity of the Lindsey years.
