You guys are gonna LOVE this!

I would guess it is Rhiannon that became the unexpected hit single they are talking about here. Did you notice how Mick points to his nose when telling the reporter how they have the energy to keep going at such a grueling pace?

Mick Fleetwood has got to have the most rectangular face I've ever seen.

Neat to know how "Rhiannon" was weeded out as the lead single. Thanks for unearthing that and posting.

As far as a few of them not having the right amount of sleep, I guess that's why they weren't there.

It was. They weren't talking about the lead single like the other poster said. They were talking about a song on the album that was originally not intended to be a single(Rhiannon) that ended up being released as a single because many radio stations were already playing it. A long time ago in some interview Stevie said that she never intended for Rhiannon to be a single in case it bombed. She said she would never be able to accept it being a failure.

I thought they were talking about OMH, too, especially when they say "the big hit single" (as in only one single), and how it was not the first song that Mick thought sounded like it should be a single. (Rhiannon, IMO, SCREAMS single.)

I viewed that more as Mick pointing to the dark circles around his tired looking eyes......of course, I could be wrong.....Thanks to overdocumented accounts, we all know what the band was doing to tap into "energy". I just didn't view that clip as Mick pointing to his nose.....

No, I didn't view it as a sly reference to snorting either.
