re:Outakes, not that impressed other than Keep Me There, IDWK, and worth the whole purchase: The Chain demo. boring at first, but fascinating that it became If You Ever Did Believe many moons later.

re: Live, I love it, I only wish they would have included YMLF.

overall, I'm not too disapointed...it didn't exceed my expectations, tho.

I don't like that Christine is almost mixed out of it. Her piano and vocals seem a bit distant, like it's a bad audience recording. If they were going to cherry pick performances, they could've found better performances OR they could've mixed her a bit louder.
I too would've preferred a full show. Had to add in a few cuts from LIVE for a satisfying listen.

Wait... Doesn't Disc 5 of this deluxe boxset contain the same versions of Disc2 at the 2004 Remastered issue? I think so and that's what I don't like of this new box set. Even the titles and track lists are exactly the same so they didn't even try to hide it!

I think they did a great job with the reissue. My only problems are with "Silver Springs." I wish they had included its lyrics in the booklet and its original 7" mix either on the actual album or as a bonus track. The version they included is the same one found on the The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac and 2004 Rumours reissue. I asked Ken Caillat why it wasn't used and he said that particular mix may have been left at the original mastering house (i.e. not given back to Warner). The version on 25 Years comes close, but that mix too was tinkered with. So the original 7" mix of "Silver Springs" remains unreleased on CD.
