So Christine McVie and Brett Tuggle really are not the same person?

I thought he was the guy on the far right on the stage.

I don't think that's Brett, but I don't know who it is.

Thanks for sharing that, David! Christine looks gorgeous.

Haven't had a chance to watch the video of "Don't Stop" yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

I completely respect Christine's desire to never tour again (if that is indeed how she still feels), but I desperately want her to record some new music with the band. It just isn't the same without her.

If Christine agreed to make one more Fleetwood Mac album Stevie would agree to participate in an instant. The problem still could be greedy/crazy Mick who ruined the chances for Christine's full participation in the last one by demanding that she tour as well" in case she had a hit on the album"

I don't think anyone ever really said that Christine could not record with the group because she would not tour with SYW. I don't think she was pressured to tour either.

I think the recording idea just fell apart, for whatever reason. The band put up the story about the reason they didn't record with her was because then people might expect to hear her when they went to the concert as a cover for whatever the real reason she did not record was, just like they said that stuff about Stevie Crow not wanting to rehearse on mother's day. They put a diplomatic face on things. But I never bought that as the reason.

I think they would have loved to draw attention to their album by having Christine's sound on there, if everything had worked out, which is probably why Steal Your Heart Away was on there, even though we'd already had it twice before.

Christine's sound would be a welcome return to FM as far as I'm concerned, but I also worry that they'd all worry too much about being commercially viable in today's market to really produce the kind of sounds I loved most from the band. Still, something's better than nothing. She looks great and I hope she had fun.

You're welcome.
No disrespect to FM, or the fans who worship the current band...but just seeing her up there, makes me realize why FM has been the soundtrack to my life. And it also makes me realize why the current incarnation just simply bores me to tears, for the most part.
Christine is the heart and soul of the band.

And of course I've always known that. But seeing these pics of her, is practically bringing me to tears. Reminding me of what's missing...

Ageed, It's not the same at all without Christine. I'm just amazed that we still have a Fleetwood Mac after all these years.

Some Fleetwood Mac fans are still saying that about Peter Green! Embrace the fact Fleetwood Mac is very unique in the way they have survived and evolved through many configurations and styles. As long as their namesakes (Mick and John) are there, it will always be Fleetwood Mac, regardless of whoever else is in the band.

I'm hoping we have an album of new music to look forward to if Stevie and Lindsey can come to terms with each other. While Say You Will was an interesting, creative and challenging album, I still think they could produce a great album artistically on or near par with Rumours. At least I hope that it will have a warmer sound than the steely feel of their previous work.
