I think "Warm Ways" is one of FM's most underrated & best "forgotten" song. It's such a beautiful song, and never gets any love.

It's funny to me how many people people dislike this song~ as can be seen in the "song elimination" thread. It was actually one of my first Mac loves, I used to listen to it every night before bed.

Here's THE most forgotten Fleetwood Mac song ever. I bet the band's even forgot about it. It needs to be recorded.
Stevemac, what a great find! I didn't know that existed and I love the early 70's rollicking Christine McVie sound.

As a "forgotten" song, I'm going for my favourite, Over and Over which I think is the tune that best displays the talents of the fab 5, everything is just perfect about this song, but it gets overshadowed by its Rumours counterparts.

musically it's lovely, though the lyric "you made me a woman tonight" was always a tad cringe-
worthy

I think it's a snooze-fest. If it was meant to be a lullaby, then it definitely succeeded.

But I LOVE "Jane". And "Welcome To The Room... Sara", and especially "When I See You Again". I just don't get what is so bad about any of them.

"Jane" has dreadful lyrics and a dull vocal, and on "When I See You Again" Stevie sounds like an old bagpipe and it's both musically and lyrically rather uninspiring.

I do like WTTRS though

I think of "When I See You Again" as a song that never realized its potential. The verse about staring at stairs is sophomoric, but I actually think the verse about dreams is beautifully painful (painfully beautiful?). And even the stairs verse conveys some feeling of bereftness, drifting and aimless in one's loneliness. Stevie was always a dreamer and this song has her dream on its last gasping breath, I can't help but be moved by it, but lyrically and vocally it needs retooling.

omg that made my tea come out my nose!!

with regard to WISYA... I always wondered if it was written about her breakup with Kim. I guess it was the line "if she sees him again/will your very best friend/will your very best friend/have been replaced by some other"
Like as long as Kim was with her, it wasn't like he'd replaced Robin or something...you know, in Stevie-logic. Just a thought.
