They are just "official ticketmaster" platinum seats. Which I assume means that the band gets the extra money instead of the scalpers. Just guarantees you a good seat now instead of having to wait and play the ticket game. I've gone to a show an hour early with no ticket and ended up fourth row center for face value but it was stressful.
