It's just Mick's pipe dream. He publicly expresses his thoughts and the press and fans go nuts with overblown reactions. It's not going to happen. Sure, Christine might socially meet with her former band members, but she is retired from the music entertainment business. People - get over it! I see what you're saying, however, this is really a strange coincidence that she is traveling to the United States after all of this time just to "visit" Mick and the gang. If it were any other time, I would agree, but people do change over time. Why is she coming to the U.S. now? Anything is possible.. fingers crossed.

Retirement or not, I don't think at least a guest appearance is out of the question. Now if they could talk her into participating in a new album, that would be truly something to look forward to. A new album with her full participation, I think would actually sell, and sell quite well.

Boredom could be a part of it, then again it sounds as though she hasn't seen the band for a number of years, and in the least maybe she just wanted to escape the English weather for a sunny-vacay. Hmm... I do really wish Mick's comments prove to be more than just hopeful meandering...

Me too. If Christine came back it would change all of their plans.

^i guess at this point with the tour booked, it's likely not going to happen... she does, after all, have to get paid for the shows she plays at. Though they may be able to work something out if it's only the UK show...

To make it happen, I bet Mick and Stevie, and maybe John, would give their cut to Christine. Lindsey strikes me as not really caring at this point, at least if she's not involved with the project.
