I don't watch a lot of TV - maybe 5-8 hours per week at the most, less than that normally. Most of the TV I watch is right before bed - History, Investigation Discovery and National Geographic are the channels I usually watch. I love crime documentaries and anything about science, history and space.

However - I do watch some less-than-educational programming from time to time, and I have to admit that when I do, I enjoy some of the worst TV out there.

Jersey Shore
Dance Moms (this is seriously entertaining)
Hell's Kitchen

Every now and then I catch an episode of New Girl (with Zooey Deschanel).

I watched some of American Horror Story...but lost interest about half-way through. I just can't commit to an entire season of anything.

TV involves too much lethargy for me to put much time into it. I use it to put myself to sleep or to waste time. There's almost always something I'd rather do - cooking, cleaning, gaming, walking, gardening, laundry, intense political discussions or philosophical debates about love, spirituality and the meaning of life with friends, social media like The Ledge. I like to always have something next on my list.

The Golden Girls will probably always be my favorite show of all time.

Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory are two of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Seinfeld is even more insufferable now than when it was on the air.

I am a few episodes into season 2 now. I only had the season 1 DVDs at first and with that finale, I actually downloaded the first season 2 ep to see what ended up happening! But I have the rest of the season's available to me now (yay for that big huge box set!) and I am soo hooked! I don't know what took me so long to get to watching it, but I would like to thank Rob Lowe and his autobiography for the final push that got me there.

That cliffhanger!! Aaaaghh! Oh there's so many great moments in season 2 but be warned... there's one moment that will just floor you.

It's crazy but I actually remember certain plot points from when they happened. I had friends who watched the show plus certain things were just SO big that I recall them being mentioned a lot, so there are some things I KNOW are coming and just don't know when! Especially one huge one that I know is a long way off but I know is going to shatter me when it comes.

Love a lot of shows, but utterly addicted to this one right now:

Matt Bomer kills it as Neal and him and Ted DeKay are awesome together. The whole cast is great and the show is very well-written and just...I love it.

I started watching American Horror Story this weekend at the urging of a Mac fan. I watched the whole first season and am now half done with Season 2 (which is airing now, I believe).

It's fun.

I don't know if "favourites", but I watch (and I've watched) some good shows!

- Pawn Stars
- UFO Hunters
- Ice Road Truckers
- The Simpsons ("first" 12 seasons, when show had sense)
- Victorious (don't kill me! First two seasons, the music and episodes changed from good to bad, really bad)
- Bones
- The Vampire Diaries (just some episodes, I'm discovering it)
- Mad About You
- The Nanny
- Tom & Jerry
- Dragon Ball Z (it marked the childhood of many children!!)
- some biographic shows and obviously VH1 with its 80s special.

Programming here is different, and the shows that require dubbing are transmitted very late...

COMMUNITY, anyone?
I've been in love with this show for 2 years now, and i'm currently rewatching all the episodes. It's funny, smart, NEVER boring, and there are plenty of classic movie/tv show references.
I HIGHLY recommend it. It's one of the few american shows that i think is up there, in terms of humour, with the british comedies.

I also like How i met your mother (though it's becoming reaaally boring), and my favorite show of all-time must be The X-files (thanks to the ledge, because it's everyone's favorite here, and that's how i started to watch it).
