Lol! That was a great interview. It was sweet when she was saying she wished Lindsey's parents could see his house. Also kind of funny when she said she looked at his house & said "look what we've done".

But, she didn't come out & say she liked the decor - just the house.

When she talked about the "oh no not another greatest hits tour" I did think someone's been listening! I hate if it really hurt anyone's feelings & understand they have to do a lot of the hits - but I am glad she knows Unleashed was not their best effort & I am looking forward to some kind of shake up. I know they can still put on an exciting show.

I hope for more of that but I mean they are not that comfortable with that. Even in their solo life they pretty much do the same thing...

Fleetwood Mac Live 2013 Tour Announced

First Date April 4th in Columbus, Ohio
Tickets On Sale Beginning December 14th

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Fleetwood Mac, one of rock's most enduring, beloved and successful bands, will be embarking on a major 34-city US Tour after a three year break beginning April 4th, 2013. The tour was announced today by the group and Live Nation, the tour's national promoter. Fleetwood Mac Live 2013 arena tour includes stops in Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Chicago and a special appearance at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Tickets for the first run of shows go on sale beginning December 14th at Ticketmaster.com.
American Express cardmembers can get advance tickets for all tour dates. Live Nation mobile app users will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, December 13th at 10:00 AM (local time). The full list of tour dates follows this release.

Multi Grammy-winning and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Fleetwood Mac last toured in 2009 with the sold out Unleashed tour. The new tour also marks the 35th anniversary of the release of their classic Rumours album (1977), one of the most successful albums in recorded history with sales exceeding 40 million copies. Rumours planted itself at the top of the pop charts for over 31 weeks and had four top ten singles.
To coincide with the tour and anniversary, a new deluxe reissue of Rumours with previously unreleased studio and live tracks will be released in early 2013 from Rhino. More details on the set will be announced soon.

The current Fleetwood Mac lineup includes Mick Fleetwood and John McVie – both original members since 1967, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks who joined the band in 1975.
"Having started Fleetwood Mac with John McVie in 1967, it has always been so gratifying that despite the various incarnations, the band has survived. Throughout the years, though, the one thing that has remained constant is our fans. I am looking forward to getting back behind the kit, reconnecting with the fans and sharing the stage with my fellow band members," commented Mick Fleetwood.

"After spending four days at Lindsey's house working on music and one really fun day doing a crazy photo session, I am quite excited about next year. Everything seems to be falling into place. 2013 looks like the year of Fleetwood Mac," commented Stevie Nicks.

Nicks has just completed a two year tour coinciding with the release of her critically acclaimed In Your Dreams CD which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Pop Charts. In Your Dreams was released on Reprise Records in 2011, and was co-written and co-produced by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. Nicks also produced and co-directed a documentary film of the recording of In Your Dreams which has received rave reviews at the Hamptons International Film Festival along with several other film festivals.

Buckingham has been touring to sold-out crowds over the last year in conjunction with his critically acclaimed September 2011 release of Seeds We Sow, his 6th solo studio album and first independent release, which debuted at No. 6 on Billboard's Rock Album Chart. He was recently honored with ASCAP's Golden Note Award, and has also received the prestigious Les Paul Award.

In August, Mick Fleetwood opened his brand new restaurant, Fleetwood's On Front Street, in Lahaina on Maui. The grand opening included musical performances by Mick, Steven Tyler, Jonny Lang and more. Mick also founded Mick Fleetwood's Private Cellar, which has produced over 20 vintages and varietals earning multiple medals in international tastings. What if they toured and no one cared?

They've gone back to the well so many times, burned out so many markets, that to think they're just gonna put tickets up for sale and sell out is to believe the Democrats and Republicans are gonna settle their financial disagreements by the end of the day.

They charge too much and deliver the same old thing, but without Christine McVie, it's a cash grab and the only people who can't see it are the rich too blind to know the tickets they're overpaying for will not make them look good when they show up the next day and say they were in attendance.

Yup, that's what sells the expensive ducats. Pricks who just want to say they were there. Who come late, talk through the show and leave early. Who probably weren't even fans in the seventies.

At least the Stones had a hook. The fiftieth anniversary.

Then again, Stones sales were weak at the end of the last tour, and Fleetwood Mac has been far from an instant sellout for years.

No one cared about Lindsey Buckingham's last solo album, and although stellar, Stevie Nicks's In Your Dreams didn't do gangbusters. The group is more than the sum of its parts. Then again, where's Christine? It's not that people know her, but they know her songs, which she won't sing.

As for Lindsey's guitar pyrotechnics, the modern Fleetwood Mac audience is turned off as opposed to turned on. Like I said, the audience is not the stoners of yore, but the matrons and He-Men of the Universe of today.

But the press just parrots the story. As if people care. They don't. And the fact that the band doesn't realize this amazes me.

The Who are doing terrible numbers. Not even filling half an arena in some cases. We got it. You need the money. You're missing half the band and we've seen you ad infinitum. Furthermore, Roger's pipes are now substandard, kind of like Lindsey's.

I'm not saying the Mac doesn't have a right to go on the road.

But I am saying that when you put money in front of music, we get to point out the emperor has no clothes, that you're living in the wrong decade, that you're representative of everything that's wrong with our country, where concerts are not life-changing events but financial affairs wherein you pay your multiple mortgages and the only people who get a good seat are the ones who employ subterfuge or overpay or both.

We thought classic rock would rule until the end. But what we find out is these greedy people end up exposing their mercenary ways and become positively creepy, turning us off.

Thank God the records are perfect. They can't be changed.

As for new music, put out one song as good as "Rhiannon" or "Dreams" and that'll give you a reason to tour. Just one, I dare you.

I noticed Stevie mentioned 'Sisters Of The Moon', I would LOVE them to start playing that on tour again - the Tusk and Mirage tour versions are amazing.

Well, his mom saw him be very successful. And she saw him have a baby. She didn't see him settle down to the extent that he has. But I think she saw a lot.

As for the dad, yeah I wish he had lived to get something out of his coffee plant troubles. I'm sure Stevie and Lindsey pranced around and annoyed him big time. Probably didn't clean up after themselves and when he opened up shop the next day there was always some kind of mess left behind. Attracted rats, no doubt.

I understand the importance of Soldier's Angel, but I just hate the thought of it taking a spot in the set. Were going to get a barrage of songs we've heard every tour and so few slots for songs we haven't heard or heard in a long time....
