Default The "13th Buckingham Nicks song"?

Stevie said at the Breaking Dawn premiere that Fleetwood Mac recently recorded two new Lindsey songs, and one song that "should have been on Buckingham Nicks," but wasn't, because it was the "13th song"...for whatever the 2013 FM project might entail.

Thoughts/speculation as to what this song might be?

"Without You" is the first thing that comes to mind, but I'm not sure how, I don't know, interesting that might be today. It's possible, after "Soldier's Angel," they might be inclined to record a simple, acoustic song together again.

Or it's possible that it's a song we've never heard before.

As I mentioned on the other posting, I'm going with "Without You." It's the one song from Almanac they both sing on equally. I can't imagine it being anything else unless there is something we haven't heard.

Well, "Without You" will be the perfect name for the EP.

Also potential: You Won't Forget Me? Heartbreaker?

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I hope it is Without You, though I do wonder about their harmonies today being as marvelous as they were on the version we've all heard.

Not to mention the content of the lyrics.... how prescient!

It sounds like the three "new songs" will be put on the 40th Anniversary release of the Buckingham Nicks cd. It makes sense. It coud be released early in the year prior to the tour. The cd will be sold at the shows. Its a great way to get the cd out. I really don't see a true "Buckingham Nicks" tour. Fleetwood Mac is Buckingam Nicks these days.

Is there a reason we think they would both sing equally on it?

Could also be Farewell Failure.

Without You would be spectacular, though.

Without You would be most appropriate, but I LOVE You Won't Forget Me and Heartbreaker, it would be spectacular to have remastered versions of them!

I think Without You is the obvious choice too, unless it's a totally unknown track.

Man, I cannot wait for a possible remastered BN album! (Even though I have two vinyl copies ) I will do flips and cry tears of joy if it's Without You! Although, quite frankly I would love it if they recorded all the BN songs which never saw a real recording! I'm greedy, I want them all!
