Default Neil Armstrong Has Died

Former U.S. astronaut, Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, has died at the age of 82, U.S. media reported on Saturday.

Armstrong underwent a heart-bypass surgery earlier this month to relieve blocked coronary arteries. His wife had previously reported that he was "doing great."

As commander of the Apollo 11 mission, Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969.

A True American, a "Brave Hero" who gave us all a feeling of being a proud Americans, during those cold war times. I worked on a computer system that was used to simulate and track the Apollo space craft as it approached the moon, and felt part of that whole space program.

Neil Armstrong and his two crew members depended upon the tens of thousands of people who were part of the sub-contractors. We all felt, and had responsibility of holding their lives in our hands, through the work we did.

God speed Neil, you are truly in heaven and the Universe.
