I never knew this was a single in America. I never even heard it on the radio back then. Or since.

It reached # 14 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, not the pop charts (Hot 100). That's probably why. It never even made the Hot 100.

Basically, it's what is your opinion on what songs on the poll were NOT hits.

Personally, I base my decision to qualify as a true hit on the following two conditions: 1. if the song was released as a single in either the US or the UK and 2. if the song was in the top 40 on any chart

If neither of those occurred then the song (in my opinion) cannot be called a "hit".

OK, so "Family Man" was released as a single and made the Hot 100. I guess I can see some people classifying it as a hit even though I don't. I'm curious about some of the others though. Why would you not vote for "Mystified" or "Welcome to the Room...Sara"?

Well then I take my vote back. Tango in the Night was a HIT in my opnion. It was one of Lindseys best ever.

Yeah, sorry I didn't bother with listing the chart - I just went with the Hot 100 singles chart if it was listed as the primary and then used the highest chart position after that on any chart as the basis for the rank. Also, if I didn't specify the country, then it's US.

Me either. I don't recall ever hearing it on the radio.
