What about Kristen seeing Stevie as a threat? That's what I meant in my original question...

I don't think Stevie feels "threatened" by Kristen...more like, the other way around.

At this point I wouldn’t want to say for sure that Fleetwood Mac is going to do another album. I am hoping that they do, in which case that material would probably or some of it at least, would probably go on a subsequent Fleetwood Mac album. If that doesn’t happen then absolutely it would go on a solo album of mine, it’s just too early to tell how all this is going to work out, you know; so in any case there is a lot of material there and I am actually starting to write some new material as well, so we are looking ahead to the future one way or another. And perhaps I misspoke--er--typed...he seems just as gung ho as ever. It's the CERTAINTY of another FM album that I think he's backing away from. Paranoia??? Not this ledgie...I don't really care if the next album is FM or Lindsey solo. So either way I'm gonna get my wish! ![]()

I have to agree that Stevie is the wild card in all of this. For some reason, she seems to be holding back emtionally on the Tour. I know there are any number of reasons, which have been debated hotly, as to just why, but they point is, she *is* acting rather detached on stage and is not giving many interviews.
Possilby Lindsey senses this, as he knows her verey well, and he could just be giving her a bit of breathing room....for now. He may just get his way in the end if he doesn't pressure her too much. No matter how one feels about what may or may not be going on behind the scenes, I think most everyone would have to admit that working so closely with Lindsey is "hard on her heart" at times. For this reason, she may feel the need to retreat into herself when it is over, and work on something that is totally hers. After all, the guys all have families to come home to in the end. I hope she does keep her focus solely on FM, that would be great, but I understand if she doesn't. Now, Johnny, I have to adress this "twenty-seven years ago" thing! haha! It would be one thing if it had ended right then and there, but they have both as much as said it didn't. There was evidently just enough bed-hopping going on to keep them emotionally entangled well into the eighties. Lindsey finally got enough of the "together but apart" stuff and left because it was driving him crazy. His "survival move" you know! haha!! -Sharon

I hope Lindsey does give Stevie some space, so she doesn't pull a Christine and ditch the rest of the tour.
Sharon, nice nod to "Violet and Blue" with the "hard on her heart" ![]()

I think the scenario of Stevie vs. Kristen or vice versa is fantasy. I don't have the slightest reason to dislike Kristen, from what I've seen of her, and I hate to see the constant jabs taken at her.
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Sorry, I posted this, then I saw Les's post...
I find it interesting if they did hook up while on the Dance tour since Lindsey was dating Kristen at this point and she got pregnant with Will...I've heard other fans say she did it on purpose (got pregnant, that is), but I don't know...I'd really like to believe that Kristen is a nice person--so I will. I just wonder what it's like to be around your husband's ex-lover/current bandmate for weeks on end. It must be hard...I don't think they fight or anything, but i'm curious as to what Kristen is going through. Come on now...Destiny Rules is about Bob Dylan, hahahah...or Mick... EFO is about Mick, right? That's what I've heard. But I wouldn't be surprised if any/all of them are about Lindsey. There have been other men in Stevie's life, yet you never hear anyone say, "Oh that song is DEFINITELY about Joe Walsh, Waddy, etc." LOL

I, like Les, like Kristen, she seemed very down to earth and nice on LB's BTM. I've heard some not so nice things about her reaction to fans, but it's all about perspective. JUST like with the reviews coming down the pipe about the tour...one person says Stevie was HORRIBLE, another says she was TERRIFIC!!! So, who to believe? Until Kristen does something bad that I see with my own eyes, I will continue to like her.
