I just don't want things to get so bad that they never work together in any capacity again out of frustration and animosity. I don't want to hear "The Chain" down the road and go, "but they did break the chain...they said they never would..." |

However, when Stevie said she wanted to concentrate more on promoting IYD he said that was understandable, since she had more fun working on it than she'd had in a long time. Michele |

Oh, they ofcourse will tour again. Fleetwood Mac....is not Fleetwood Mac.....unless there is some kind of fight. That tension and those egos, personalities.........are all of the reasons we love to see them on stage. If they were all just in love and peace with each other........we wouldn't be so interested. That is part of what makes them one of the VERY BEST live bands...still around. And, If I have to wait until 2013.......than I am cool with that.

Amen, Ed. I agree with this whole-heartedly. Life is way too short to spend it being anything but happy and free. I do enjoy seeing Fleetwood Mac, but honestly, without new music, what's the point?

Mick should just open another restaurant or sell more "whine" if he's that hard up for $$ again.

I can understand Mick from his perspective, sort of. My guess is that after he finished touring his Blues album, he's just sitting around, waiting for Fleetwood Mac.
Yet, Stevie and Lindsey are both preoccupied with their own solo ventures. He's essentially saying that Stevie is beating her album into the ground; he may be right about that, but that is her prerogative! I don't like the idea of the prospect of them touring, yet again, without a new album to promote. It casts the band in a cash-grab, stale mode of existence. Any revelence and artistic integrity that the Fleetwood Mac brand had, is slowly eroding. Unless they did something radical or unique- like drastically changing the set list, or adding former band members to the mix, they are at risk of being at the level of a Vegas or state faire, has-been band. It would great if they did something like performing Tusk in it's entirety, but without Christine in the mix, that would be unlikely.

Such a tender way Mick has in reaching out to Stevie 3 months after her mother has passed: "Stevie, I need money. Fall in line here." What a loser. He should support her in whatever endeavor she wants to pursue. Mick should try some session work. He knows without Stevie and Lindsey he's SOL.
