My Stevie collection is going up for auction

Thanks for clearing that up about the tour books. My first Stevie concert was the Tango tour and I saw every Stevie/Fleetwood Mac tour in Pittsburgh up until I moved to LA in 99. I had tourbooks for each one and they always cost $20. They didn't have one for SA when I went so maybe they ran out or something. After all my moves I have no idea what happened to them. I think I stupidly gave them to a used book store in the late 90's, before Ebay became a huge thing and the Ledge was around. I wish I still had them. I still remember the Enchanted one where there's a clip of her talking about turning 50 and she said something like "It used to be sex, drugs and rock & roll and now it's Centrum Silver". LOL.

That tourbook, still shrink-wrapped, is a gem. You posted quality items at very good prices, and it's not very often the good stuff is available on eBay which has turned into a repository for photographs with her autograph that are mostly fakes.

I was circling the Wild Heart RIAA award...

Those factory pressed bootleg CDs - made from glass molds - get a big thumbs up. Those discs will still play 10 years from now, whereas the burned CDrs another person is selling will have playback issues with incompatible brands of stand-alone CD players and computer disc drives. And CDrs also rot 100 times faster than discs pressed from factory glass molds.

wow... I've toyed with the idea of selling my collection too. It's hard to let go because most of it was purchased before the economy tanked and items were priced pretty high, not much was found in bargain basements. Also, I was dealing with some very, very tough issues in my life during that time and collecting was a distraction. It was like Christmas whenever something would come in the mail, which is how I got most of it. Second row on the right at Nicksfix My Stevie Room.

Wow Nice collection. I was thinking of whats going to happen to my collection after I'm gone.I know my sister and niece and nephews probably send all of it to the dump.They probably ignore my will.I could start weeding out the dups and sell them off.Anyway I love that gold record RIAA award.Not a bad price. Also I got the WH program and payed $50 bucks for it back in 1993. $25.00 is a steal for it.

That is so weird that so many have thought about selling off their collections. I have toyed the with idea myself. But like others have said I acquired most of my stuff in the mid to late 90's and paid a fortune for much of it (the joys of have disposable income!). Thought nothing of paying $500 for the RAL platinum award (awarded to Modern Records) but know that there's no way I'd get that for it now (not ready to part with it anyhow). Posters, tour books, records, t-shirts, over 100 original radio shows (1975-today) etc, sadly most of its all boxed up and in closets.
I have thought of transferring the radio shows (LP's and CD's) to MP3 to post them, but finding the time is extremly difficult these days!

Thanks! I tried to pick things that I didn't see on eBay, that I thought a fan would want. I also want them to go to another fan, hence the pricing. I'm at my limit on free auctions now but if this stuff moves I'll put up more.
The Wild Heart RIAA award has brought me much happiness. I specifically chose to buy it because I love The Wild Heart and because it's just the record. I don't care for the record/cassette/cd combo display. I like it old school with just the record.

The beauty of collecting is that you can pick it up again at any time. I'm just not into it right now. And I look at the money I paid for the stuff as money well spent as it brought me happiness. So it's all good. I'm actually having fun with the auctions now.
Of course there are things I'd never part with like my framed Rhiannon print which Stevie inscribed:

They'll have to pry that thing out of my cold, dead hands. Or my Buckingham Nicks gatefold lp autographed by Lindsey. Stevie imma get you to sign that thing one of these days.

I love this thread! I cherish my Stevie colllection. I've never seen the Buckingham Nicks album signed by both of them.

What eludes me is getting Stevie to sign my Rumours album. I'm extremely grateful that she signed the IYD litho at Amoeba this year, but I wish I had not followed rules like other people and sneaked Rumours in for her to sign!

That record has been signed by Mick and Herbie, so someday I hope to have Stevie sign it.

I'm glad a big fan got it! I wanted it so bad. Once it hit $45 though I was like eff this, I've got school loans to pay.
I have to admit that I did enjoy watching the end of that auction though. I sat at the computer texting my friend like, Oh sh*t it's up to 85 now. Ohp, now it's 97. Look at those hardcores go.

Same here. I have that black and white poster stored/hidden behind the colored version (different pose) that hangs in a plastic frame on my wall.
