I've never met any Ledgies in person. Glad that others are enjoying those friendships, tho.

Me either... meeting people from the internet has always been traumatic for me. So I haven't done it in a long, long time.

Most of the friends I've had, I've met online. I can count on one hand the number of friends that I met any other way. In person, I tend not to talk to people unless they talk to me first. I never know what to say, and I'm always afraid that I'm bothering them.

I've met so many Ledgies I've lost count. Still keep in touch with several.

Why, just this past weekend DrummerDeanna & Big Bad Evil Carrie721 went to a Lindsey show together.

Many of my Ledgie collisions have been among the highlights of my year. Fleetwood Mac fans are as fun as they are insane, and they are bat****.

You are just attracting swarms to Durham castle. Have fun!

How is Big Bad Evil Carrie? Her presence is missed.

So I'm in a Facebook chat a couple of days ago, with Sara1998(Maria), and Michelle(bunch of numbers after name), talking about how we've been close to Michelle's hometown, and not had time to stop......

So, I finally say, "guys, I'm in the middle of both of you, let's pool party this Sunday"
And so it shall be!!! They're also bringing Shawna(golddustdrummer), and a few others.

Ledgies gonna swim and drink Bloody Marys, like they're goin' outta style!!!!

I'll just say that we had a hell of a collision! What part of it we remember!

We woke up this morning(noon), and were both like, "I don't remember anything after the taxi ride back to the hotel!" We drank about $100 last night! At four or five different bars(at least that's how many I remember).

Fortunately, there is a Shoney's breakfast buffet nearby, so we ate ourselves into coherence today.

Too.much.f*cking.fun.

So was Maria's daughter Sara, when we met. She was afraid of "that man from the internet". Within about 5 minutes of meeting me, she was sitting beside me on the couch!

Because I'm just that scary!

If somebody doesn't want to meet me or be friends with me because they're afraid of "people from the Internet" or from the Ledge specifically, then that's their issue, not mine. I'm (generally) a good person, and I sort of resent someone saying they can't associate with me because "Ledgies do crazy things" or "everyone on the Internet is a serial rapist."

Right. Well, she was a little girl, and I think I'd be a little apprehensive, too!

Yet Maria's driving 4 hours today, so that we can bar hop all night tonight!

We're gonna rip this town a new one!!!

She's a KID. I'm glad she feels concerned- most people don't and end up regretting it later.

Okay, geez. Sorry. I didn't realize she was a kid. Excuse the hell out of me.

I'm positive nothing bad was meant by that comment.

Many of us are Facebook friends(and real life friends) outside of the Ledge, and know a lot of our personal details. So I think sometimes we forget that not everyone knows our details....

Have a good day.

Yup - you've got to be so careful. I had't met anyone from the internet for a long time and so I was a little apprehensive meeting Lauren but that's fine now. She's the only one I've met and I'd still be selective about those I did meet.
