Unhappy I'm worried.....

Hey I'm going to see Fleetwood Mac soon and have a floor seat towards the back of the arena. My question to all of you is, am I screwed? If everybody in front of me is standing up, getting beer, using the john, and whooping and hollaring, will I still get a good view of the band? I think the most important factor in that is just how high is the stage? I hope it's at least six feet high. I haven't been to a concert in a long time and usually I am in a seat on the sides or at an outdoor event in a bowl. Tell me I don't need to take a stool. My one blessing is that I am six feet tall. If some guy parks in front of me at 6'5" with a big hat, I may come to blows!

This is true. You should be fine. I am 5'0 and can't see a thing when I have floor seats.

Hope you have fun at the show. I think you definitely have a good chance of seeing since you have an advantage in your height. I am 5' 2 and I was lucky to get row two in Worcester, if I was in the back I'd be out of luck.

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like every inch counts so what I will do for added insurance will be to smuggle in a big phone book. I do remember going to the House of Blues to see Stevie at her millenium concert and seeing some five foot tall girls having a rough time seeing much. Bill
