I care ... LOL you wouldnt believe this debate has been going on for a year or more.
His faulty brain makes him think Oasis are better no matter what facts I produce to suggest otherwise.
Maybe I should call him a doctor to look at a more underlying problem he may have.
I just wish some music student did a comparision on these two bands for their dissertation.

In reality it's not really fair to comPare the two because of the generational barrier.

I mean, aside from personal opinions which ultimately mean nothing, all you can really throw at him is stuff like album sales, chart success, etc.

This person you speak of wouldn't happen to have the initials JB, would he?

Honestly, what difference does it make? You can't make somebody like a band. Your friend likes Oasis. You like Fleetwood Mac. Somebody else likes Justin Bieber. Somebody else likes Verdi. There's no accounting for musical taste!

This argument actually surprises me, a lot. Very much an apples v. oranges thing. The band that Oasis usually gets compared to is the Kinks, since both bands had battling brothers (and Oasis stole anything good they ever did from the Kinks).

I totally agree with you on both counts. It doenst matter and you cant make someone like something.
Also they stole a **** load of stuff from the beatles.

Everyone was very objective in their point of view and put a pretty unbiased opinion forward. Thanks
