The Writing Thread

[WildHearted]

I've been writing a lot lately.

Anyway, here's a song. Or a poem. That has a melody. Whichever.

So the moon becomes a sunrise,
Like the wind, I fly away.
Another night erased with passing light,
They're all the same.

Still I see your smiling faces,
But all my eyes can lend are tears.
What happened to the time we wasted?
A liftetime's passed us by in these four years.

So goodbye my friends,
Or so we'll call each other.
One day they say we'll meet again
But until then, we begin over...

A warm embrace makes me remember
The touches of the ones I love,
And come this time next September,
It's you I'll be thinking of.

When the truth is hard to weather,
Though we may be miles apart,
I'll think of music made together,
And melodies forever in my heart.

So goodbye my friends,
Or so we'll call each other.
One day they say we'll meet again
But until then, we begin over.

We begin over
We begin over
Over and over again
We begin

They say you're only hurting yourself...
No, you're hurting everyone else...
You're only hurting yourself....
You're only hurting yourself...

Edit to say: Dani, you're an incredible writer. Color me jealous.
