This concept may be hard for the younger Ledgies to grasp but for the Tusk tour the high ticket price was $15.50 and believe it or not, that was a lot of freakin' money back then!!!

Yes, and good tickets were nearly impossible to obtain or shows sold out very, very quickly. There was typically a single pricing tier throughout the arena such that the $15.50 ticket price was applied, regardless of whether you were in the front row or in the back row of the nosebleeds. High ticket prices are a double-edged sword. They suck, but at least they help to ensure the availability of good seats. Today it is still possible to find tickets to concerts in the $20 - $45 range; however, you are going to sit in the back.

Yes i remember very well on that beautiful day when i fluked meeting the band, Stevie happily asked me if we were going to their concert that night? I was so embarrassed to mention that i only had $10 left in my purse with 3 vacation days remaining, so on the spot, i opted to tell a white lie, & told her we WERE going... not to disappoint her... My biggest regret ever for not borrowing that extra cash needed, to see their Tusk Concert So yes $15.50 ticket price's back then were not cheap...
