The Dance was definitely the watershed moment where celebs started openly professing their love for Stevie once again, and the momentum has been building ever since. Especially with this younger crop of celebs. Even backTh in her heyday, Stevie was never truly taken seriously by rock critics. She was lampooned almost universally. It's such a different story with In Your Dreams... we're seeing the first truly gushing album reviews of Stevie's career! I've gotta say, it's highly vindicating .

That's an absolutely accurate assessment! This album will/is having a huge, lasting impact on Stevie's legacy. You mention about people not admitting loving her, I felt just like that in high school with Fleetwood Mac. They were my "secret love" at a time when they were not very cool with my peer group.
