What's your fave albums that you wish more people knew & loved the way you do?

[Dodfather]

Hi guys

Random thread title but I was recently asked this on a formspring site and thought it was a great question! Also a fantastic way to get to know what everyone likes and discover some new music.

So - what are those albums that you love and can never believe that others don't know and love like you do??

A lot of mine arise from the fact that I like so much music that isn't mainstream/popular/known at all in the UK so apologies if people here don't think ther're really random.

There are a few albums that I always try and get people to listen to but my first instincts are either:

Judee Sill - Judee Sill (1972),
Kylie Minogue - Impossible Princess (1997)
The Alice Band - The Love Junk Store (2002).
Aimee Mann - Bachelor No. 2 or The Last Remain Of The Dodo (1999)

Here's a track from each of them:

Judee Sill - Lady O (She gave it to The Turtles then released her own version)

Kylie Minogue - Did It Again (really hard to choose one from this album but I just love this video!)

The Alice Band - Nothing On But The Radio (a real favourite!)
These girls only had the one album in 2002 and then disappeared without a trace!

Aimee Mann - Red Vines (Album version is better but couldn't find it on youtube)

Ok - thoughts??
