Cover Songs

[Travis]

Hey All,

I’m currently in the planning stages of making a new play list of great cover songs that I love. I have only women artists so far and I may end up making it just women but I want to know what are some of your favorite covers? Not a song that is sampling another song but an actual cover. Any artist or band. So far I have:

Colbie Caillat / Maria (Blondie)
Corinne Bailey Rae / I Wanna Be Your Lover (Prince)
Chaka / Everywhere (Fleetwood Mac)
Jennifer Lopez / You Belong To Me (Doobie Brothers or Carly Simon – I forget who did it first)
Tina Turner / Missing You (John Waite)
Sophie Ellis-Bextor / Take Me Home (Cher)
