I'm taking my cousin to the show at Banknorth Garden for her birthday, which was yesterday. She hasn't been to a concert in 15+ years; loves Stevie and Rod Stewart. Haven't told her we are sitting in the 8th row. (Section A, Row 8, seats 4 & 5.)
I purchased the pair from a ticket agent because I wanted really good seats. If I purchased them directly from Ticketmaster, the pair & $33 in extra charges would have cost me $333. The secondary ticket agent: a total of $460. I thought this was a great deal - an extra $62 bucks per ticket was worth it for amazing seats and no stress. But I soon realized how distorted my reasoning is. An hour ago, I unearthed my stub for FM's show at the Garden on Oct. 31, 1987. My friend Sandra and I waited out over-night and were first in line at a ticketmaster in Salem, Mass. Our dream came true. Front row tickets to see Stevie on Halloween night. The price? See the photo below. I feel old. She should feel old as well so I am posting this on her Facebook page. ![]() |
