Buffalo show

Hi there everyone, I'm new, as you can tell. (Hi, Sally!) I've been lurking for a bit, though.

I was at the Buffalo show and I was completely blown away. I saw the Mac of '94 open for Crosby, Stills, & Nash---and it was nothing like this. I'm considering this to be my first real Fleetwood Mac concert, even with the absence of Christine. I am still flying high from the concert.

What I saw of the crowd being rude (now granted, I was off in section 103, row7, but I still had great seats) was that during the new material, that's when it was time to get more beer---or get more food---or go to the bathroom---or go smoke and come back all smelly. I mean really, people---the album's been out for a month! It seriously drove me nuts.

My friends and I were singing along (not loudly, just enough to sing along), and clapping, and the people in front of us (now, mind you we were sitting---something I'm not used to since I'm usually in the front rows of Barenaked Ladies concerts) turned around and asked us to quiet down because they were "trying to listen to the music." Call me crazy---but aren't there huge speakers all around the arena? Isn't everybody making noise? For the price of the tickets---I recommend staying home next time and listening to your CDs, buddy.

I was highly touched by "Landslide," mainly because this being my first Mac concert with Stevie, and being brought up on the band just...I don't know...I just couldn't believe I was seeing her live and in person singing such a great song. Same with "Silver Springs" and "Beautiful Child."
