Gah!

Ok,
So there were these band tryouts at school.
I have really wanted to be in a band - and be like and an awesome front man.
This year, I made it my goal - and I signed up for the vocal auditions.
GAH!
I have never sang before in my life to someone that isn't in my family. People who have heard me say I am good - but who's to tell? I don't know if I really can.
Should I just quit?
