The Game

[GypsyWonders92]

So...I just wrote my first song, kinda. It's a working progress. I was hoping that maybe some of you could tell me what you think? The lyrics so far are here. This is me singing it, I know I'm really bad :/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE_odeubfL8 and the pictures are just my friends and I because they are an important inspiration in my life. So, i hope you like it (you probably won't but thanks for listening to it anyway :L). Jenni.

The Game

Love isn't always what it seems.
It can break you down and shatter your dreams.
But you will never catch me.

Each moment now, each moment then
Has never been worth nothing.
Once i wished upon a star so bright
But some things, well some things they never change.
Ohhhh...
Ohhhh...

I waited for you, I hoped, I prayed
But now I know it was all in vain.
It was just a sweet sweet surrender to all your childish games.

You were my life, you were my wonder.
But mostly you were my thunder.
And as the years pass by and a new love takes over
I know I will often think of you.
These troubled dreams have long since faded.
Yet my heart still trembles when I pass you in the street.

Why can't I see love is the game I want to play
And you were holding me back.
Oh but I wish I could have held you...even just for a day.
