Loving the Mac so much it hurts

I feel a bit silly writing this but I know if I'm going to find anyone who'll understand, it'll be my fellow Ledgies!

When life gets really busy I'm kept away from the Ledge for a few weeks at a time, so I come back to lots of fun and interesting posts, and occasionally very exciting news, such as Lindsey and Stevie's upcoming solo albums. Very often I find myself physically shaking as I type responses and I can't sleep that night because my head is rushing with so much excitement and anticipation. I feel, quite literally, sick with excitement.

Attending the Mac's Unleashed concerts in Dublin last year was the best experience of my life but the lead-up to it, from booking tickets to nabbing a spot at the stage, was pure stress. I was so excited to see Lindsey playing right in front of me and his presence filled me with so much pure joy that I could barely breathe. I thought I'd collapse or explode or maybe both.

Sometimes when I'm walking home from college with Lindsey's voice in my ears, he just takes my breath away. Many times I've had to take a break from Stevie's music because it affects me so intensely. When I think of times in my life that positive emotions have been so strong as to overflow and become a bit unpleasant, the Mac are always there.

There are times when they make me, literally, unbearably happy -- in essence, sometimes I love them so much it hurts.
