Songs Christine should have/could have wrote

[PenguinHead]

There are two songs that I always think of Christine when I hear them. Both lyrically, vocally, melodically and topically, they reek of her style. Her voice is so suited to them. Even by just looking at the lyrics -- which are simple and sparse, but yet impactful -- you could swear that she wrote them:

DAY AFTER DAY by Badfinger

I remember finding out about you
Everyday my mind is all around you

Looking out of my lonely room
Day after day
Bring it home, baby make it soon
I give my love to you

I remember holding you while you sleep
Everyday I feel the tears that you weep

Looking out of my lonely gloom
Day after day
Bring it home, baby make it soon
I give my love to you

LET ME ROLL IT by Paul McCartney & Wings

You gave me something I understand
You gave me love in the palm of my hand

I can't tell you how I feel
My heart is like a wheel
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you

I want to tell you
And now's the time
I want to tell you
That you're going to be mine

I can't tell you how I feel
My heart is like a wheel
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you

"Let Me Roll It " even has some jarring guitar lines between the verses that are very similar to Lindsey's style.
