I'm a Dad now, and if I'm sitting on the Ledge I could be spending time with my wife or my little boy. As many people would already know, the internet can consume all of your time, whether it be facebook, farmtown, chat, or whatever, sometimes you miss out on what is really important because of the computer.

When I was Oliver's age, my dad was working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. He didn't do it because he wanted to, he did it through necessity. He would still get up at night with Mum though to feed and change me. However, my memories of my childhood are of my Dad always been too busy to play. Even he says that he isn't going to make the same mistake with his grandson. Personally I don't want have those regrets of not spending enough time with my son.

So yes, that is why I am leaving. I'm not slamming the door on the way out, I'm saying thanks for the hospitality and hitting the road!
Best of luck with your family. I don't blame you at all. I hear what your saying about the 'computer' eating up time well spent with others and family. I think all this technology has taken us all away from the simplier things in life. Just sitting and talking and spending time with each other. Now not saying that it doesn't help us in our lifes but it does become this all comsuming 'thing' if we let it be (but I guess that can be with anything really.....) so enjoy your life with your wife and son and family. I do hope you will come back every so often but if the choice is to not thats ok too. You must do what makes you happy. Best wishes......take care.....Life can be too short so enjoy of it what you can and make the best of it too!!
