Short review w/pics, MFBB in Napier...

[OldTimer]

A NZ blogger posted this short write-up of the MFBB/McDonald/Scaggs show in Napier, with a few pictures. A couple of misspellings - Mick became 'Mic' and Michael McDonald became 'Malcolm McDonald' (she may be confusing him with Malcolm McDowell, who is one of my fave actors but I don't know if he can sing a lick )

When I hear about fans like this......

the people behind us, who seemed to think they were at a drinking party and that it would be a good idea to just talk/shout all the way through. While listening to Mic Fleetwood and his blues band they constantly kept saying, "When is he going to play Albatross". When they eventually did play Albatross, they then talked very loudly over it.

.....that's when I remember the DOWN side of live shows.

So I think that's the end of this tour. I guess I'm the only one around here who's really that into them, but I'm very eager to find out what the rest of 2010 holds for Mick, Rick, Lenny, & Mark. A new album? Touring the US? We'll see......
