Street Angel - Redone A Little Bit

[mikebise]

I've been in a Street Angel mood lately, so I decided to re-do the album slightly, as I periodically do. I tried to make a fun track order to listen to, while retaining Stevie's sequencing as well.

Let me know what y'all think:

Blue Denim - Single Remix; The sound is SO much better than the album mix! I think the mix on Enchanted is very weak. Chris Lord-Alge should remix everything Stevie's ever done, with "Blue Denim" and "Say You Will" as proof!

Greta - Album version; Almost went with the original mix from 1993 Street Angel Masters, but there are lots of extra guitars on the official version, plus you can almost hear the harmonica! The drums are remixed better on the 1994 official release.

Street Angel - Album version; Yes, I know many prefer the original mix which is on Enchanted, but I think the overdubbed guitar adds a lot to the song.

Thousand Days - Enchanted version. More Chris Lord-Alge!

Docklands - Album version.

Listen To The Rain - Album version.

If You Were My Love - Studio outtake from 1993 Masters of Street Angel.

Destiny - Album version; the original version is way too short, as the mix on Enchanted. So many more instruments on the 1994 mix, much prettier.

Playing in God's Garden - Japanese Street Angel CD.

Unconditional Love - Album version.

Love Is Like A River - Album version.

Inspiration - Japanese Street Angel CD.

Rose Garden - Original mix from Enchanted, just for that one little extra vocal by Stevie!

Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind - UK CD-single Remix; The original 1993 version's guitar sounds little hokey, IMO. I love it, and the extra vocals, but this single remix is crisp and clear, and Stevie's voice is glorious!

Just Like A Woman - Album version.

Kick It - Album version.

Jane's Song - Original 1993 version from Street Angel Masters. I think the piano serves the song better.

So, not too different, but utilizing the b-sides and "If You Were My Love" and the single remixes.
